[A Simple Rugby Match]

Here's a rugby story I would like to share .

    On this day, a famous football coach Vince Lombardi faced a difficult challenge :  Where to begin after yesterday's humiliating defeat. There was little he could say to his team that hadn't already been said. There were a few aspects of the game that they had not practiced  and analyzed extensively. The men were professionals. They knew their performances on the field had been atrocious. They were angry,frustrated and disappointed - to say the least.
    In his remarkable manner, Lombardi met the challenge head-on. Picking up the familiar, leather ball, he went directly to the heart of the manner. In a deliberate manner he brought everyone's attention's back to the basics with five simple words ''Men, this is a football''.
     One of his player who understood exactly how badly they needed to review the essentials spoke up, '' HOLD ON ,coach , you're going to fast !''

      And yeah , this story really makes sense to all of us . It's a story that all of us would understand because in times of loss and confusion , we just need to get back to the basics . Sometimes we may get lost in our path withe the Lord and the everyday verses like John 3:16 really brings us in place for God has saved us all.


John 11:25-26 

 ²⁵ Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; ²⁶ and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”


All who believe in Him will never die for we will live eternally in Him ! But still , the bible also says that we are currently BEING SAVED ! confused?

Philippians 2:12 

 ¹² Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling.

For me , the passage tells me that being saved also means to continue that walk with God ! Which means to continue living for His name ! 

Philippians 1:21

²¹ For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

But are we seriously serving Him for He is God or because we want to be excepted by the Lord. NO ! We should be serving Him for the sake of HIM ! and not to be in Heaven ! 

The message really spoke to me as a reminder to continuously follow Him , to walk in His path

Keep in track , Keep in His tracks :D

[The Search]

Devotions Day 1,

               Everyday , captivate that habit of devotion and  the heart for devotion. The story I read up was about a man,a traveler, spending his whole life searching for a treasure chest full of silver and gold. He grew old and decided to tell 2 other people about the treasure and in the end, the two other people found the treasure . the only thing was that he was too old to use the treasure.

This really hit me , how we  want so much WORLDLY TREASURES when we are already given the  HEAVENLY TREASURE  that none can replace yet we are so naive so search such pointless things , Electric Guitars ,  New Computers , That Dress and all the unnecessary things.


Matthew 16:24-27 says

 ²⁴ Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. ²⁵ For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. ²⁶ What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? ²⁷ For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.

           And yeah , we are all servants to God and we must deny ourselves , take up our own cross and follow the Savior , Jesus Christ. For it is either we're a slave to God or slave to Sin.


Romans 6:11-13 says
 ¹¹ In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. ¹² Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. ¹³ Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.


Overall , the devotion for me was saying to stop being a slave to the WORLD and start being a slave to GOD.
